Element Research

Step 1: Choose one element with an atomic number between 1 and 18 that you would like to research. You can access the periodic table here.

Step 2: Use the websites to complete the information for your element. You may need to navigate more than one website to find complete information. All parts of your paper should be completed.

Chem4kids
WebElements
ChemiCool
ChemEd
Science for Kids

Step 3: Using the research you conducted about the element, create a one page paper advertisement to communicate the importance of your element above all other elements on the periodic table. See your paper for specific instructions and the criteria for success.

When you have finished your advertisement, raise your hand for Ms. Baum to check your work!
